Biggest Loser
Winners!!!
Joe Dolman
"Take the first step and don't give up!"
 |
" I joined the gym because
I wanted to lose weight. I've been a member of Victory for about 4 years.
I like the atmosphere at the club. From the first time that I walked in, I
felt welcomed. I do the water aerobics classes about 4-5 times a week.
My goal is to become healthier. Working out makes me feel good. I am
able to do things now that I couldn't do even 6 months ago. I can even cut
my grass. Take the first step and don't give up. Make exercise a
part of your lifestyle change because diets just don't work!"
**Joe lost 28lbs during Biggest Loser, and has lost over 100lbs since May
2007!!! Keep up the great work, Joe! |

"Do it for your health!"
 |
" I have recently
lost 18 pounds and lots of inches! I feel great! I enjoy coming to
Victory, I work out 4 times a week. I love to do water aerobics and the
machines. The water aerobics classes I've been taking feel good and it is
great to strengthen my knee joints as I have recently had a knee replacement.
I've met a lot of nice people and my doctor is happy. I say, "Do it for
your health!" |

"Jump in and do it!"
|
"I've been a
member since 1992. My advice to you is - when it comes to exercise, just
jump in and do it! I love to do aerobics classes because it helps
to have other people to motivate you. One thing that has helped me stuck
with it is the friendliness of the instructors at Victory. They always
have something new to try!" |

Lori
was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. She had been wanting to lose some weight,
but being diagnosed with diabetes was what it took to get her started. She
realized if she didn’t change, she might not be around to see her kids grow up.
Lori has been a
member since September 2005. She loves to use the cardio machines and work out
on the private section at the west club for ladies only. She always checks with
her trainer, Coleen, when her workout gets too comfortable.
Working out has
given Lori more energy, and
she has lost 93 pounds!
Lori wants
everyone to know that you have to make a lifestyle change.
Diet alone doesn’t make the difference.
You have to make a permanent change in the way you live to enjoy
your life and prolong it.
Great
Job, Lori!

Mary has been a member at Victory Fitness Center North since November 2005.
Her motivation came from a picture taken of her and her father on Thanksgiving.
She felt like the Goodyear Blimp, hated how she looked, and was always tired
with low self esteem. When she weighed herself and saw the scale at 250
pounds, she was so close to 300 that she was really scared. She joined
Victory and made a commitment to herself - no more complaining, do something!
Mary decided it was time to make time for herself. She started coming to
Victory 3-4 times a week and the weight began to melt away. She is very
self-motivated but also participates in Aerobics Classes such as Total Body
Workout and Yoga to vary her workout and keep energized. Mary reads
food labels and eats smaller portions because she knows that there is no easy
way out - she says that no diet pill out there is going to guarantee a successful weight loss,
you have to eat healthy and exercise.
When needing help to keep motivated, Mary looks at old pictures of herself. She wants to
maintain the great body she has now.
Her self confidence is
up and she's committed to staying happy and healthy for as long as she lives.
Her diet and exercise routine are now her top priorities. Mary has lost 66 pounds and
now wears a size 12!
CONGRATULATIONS, MARY! WOW!!!!!
